Do you know that one of the ancient Roman amphitheatres that work nowdays there is in the homeland of Shakespeare's Juliet in Verona? It was built around the 30 of our era.
During the theatrical holidays that begin in all major theaters in the world from June to September, the Arena di Verona collects all graitest artists and hosts all the most famous performances: Carmen, Aida, Tosca, Swan Lake - performed by the best soloists from around the world.
It's not the first year I've been dreaming to get here, but this year, unfortunately, I managed to come to Verona only when the season was over. Preparing for the season of 2018)) here the poster and tickets. To book it is necessary in advance ..

Really it's very nice The night shows look more beautiful. 30,000 people was the housing capacity of the Arena. Every year over 500,000 people see productions of the popular operas in this arena. Once capable of housing 20,000 patrons per performance (now limited to 15,000 because of safety reasons), the arena has featured many of world's most notable opera singers. The 2011 Bollywood film Rockstar directed by Imtiaz Ali starring Ranbir Kapoor with music composed by Academy Award winner A.R.Rahman opens and closes with musical concerts shot here.

Thank you dear friend )) it is 20 minutes by train from Venice . Except coliseum there are many things are worth to be seen 😄 And of course Italy is wonderful shopping 💛
