Today I will show you some beautiful part of my city , where I live . So I invite you in Pokrovskiy monastery for men in Kharkov . There is church on the territory of monastery which is open for all visitors . Monasterio is situated on the one of the main square of Kharkov - Maidan of Constitution . In the middle of square there is a monumate "Flying Ukraine " in the image of Greec goddes of victory - Nica .
So let's go in monasterio . The building of monasterio is the oldest stone building in Kharkov . First since 1689 it was just Collegium and only in 1799 it was opened monasterio and since 1805 Collegium stoped working . There was big library with very old and rarely books .
Duaring Soviet period when churches in Soviet Union were destroyed and the property was taken by communist party of Soviet Union Pokrovskiy monasterio was saved and got state a historical monument of architecture.
When I visited churches in old Europe I noticed that three people already use electronic candles . Or even some tablo with light - you just put money and lectronic candles light up . But we still you candles from beeswax , you have to light up alive fire and put the candles in special place .. it is beautiful ))
There is good bakery on the territoria of monastery . You can by bread , "bulka" - bread with different food inside - potato , jam , chees , fruits , cabbage etc ..
and of course , in the church after ritual service you have to by "prosfora" - unleavened bread special shape .

In 2014, I had to defend my master's work in Donetsk Polytechnic University. But because of the war, I had to look for another institution where I could protect my work. He applied to various universities: in the Dnieper, in Odessa, in Kiev, in Kharkov. My work interested in the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics. I arrived in Kharkov. I want to say, I was struck by the city with its architecture, but most of all I was amazed by the people living in this city. I was helped by everyone I contacted.
