Bajra Shahi Jame Mosque

Noakhali Maijdi is about 15 kilometers north of Sonaimuri upazila on the western side of the main road, the famous Bajra Shahi Jame Mosque. Historical contributions of Islam in the whole of Bangladesh, including Noakhali, have been promoted. The Mughal emperors in Delhi ruled for 300 years in undivided India. In the long run, Mughal emperors and their high ranking bureauchers constructed statues, mosques and mosques at different places which still exist as rare and brilliant in architecture. Among them, Taj Mahal of Agra, Sekendra, Dewan Mango, Agra fort, Delhi's Red Fort and Shahi Jame Mosque in Delhi are one of the main. Mughal Zamindar Aman Ullah Khan constructed the Mughal Zamindar Amman Ullah Khan in 1141 AD, according to 1139 Bengal, ie, in 1741, about three hundred years ago, he built a Bajar Shahi mosque, which continues to attract the attention of domestic and foreign tourists, as a unique feature of Mughal architecture.

Zamindar Aman Ullah excavated a huge tank with 30 hectares of land in front of his house. In the pleasant surroundings of the Eidghir, a beautiful 72-foot-length 74-foot-wide circular arcade, and about 200 feet high, 3 dome-built historic museums. To strengthen this mosque, around 20 feet of soil is frightened from the bottom. Dome is decorated with lovely marble stones. There are three bowl doors for the entrance to the mosque. There are several domes on the entrance of the mosque. The Qibla wall has 3 mirrored mihrabs.

Maulana Shah Abu Siddiqi, one of the most respected Buzurg alim of the holy Makkah Sharif, was appointed as the first Imam of the historic community at the special request of Mughalsamrut Mohammad Shah. His descendants have been performing the duty of imam of this mosque as per the merits. At present, Imam Hasan Siddiqi, the seventh maiden of Imam Sahib, is performing the duty of Imam of that mosque.

There is a tradition that if you make some vows in this mosque, then you will get good results. It is therefore seen that innumerable women and men gave money to this mosque every day in hopes of getting rid of disorderly disorder. Besides, people came from far and wide and offered prayers in this mosque. The Bangladesh Archeology Department is working to preserve the tradition of the historic mosque and to save rare patterns.
