Victoria Harbor: Hong Kong’s Largest  Harbor

Victoria Harbor, a deep and sheltered harbor on The Sea of China  is located between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon in Hong Kong. This is the largest harbor in China and the third largest in the world. Thousands of international vessels  visit Victoria Harbor yearly. The port is also famous for its fantastic views and is a major tourist destination. Here you have monumental views of the China Sea, Hong Kong Island, and Kowloon in Hong Kong. Can you think of anywhere else you would rather be? 

Victoria Harbor is one of the busiest ports in the world. Day and night, pleasure boats and wooden fishing boats come and go. There are many  barges and ships that call on this port–this is truly one of the busiest ports in the world.  Star Ferries to cruise liners, they come and go, as they maneuver, the Great China Sea. 

While in Hong Kong, there are four major shows on Victory Harbor that are a must see. The Symphony of the Lights is a nightly show that is simply stunning. Victoria Peak is the tallest mountain in Hong Kong. Located on the mountain is Victoria Tower, where the best views of the harbor can be found.  How amazing it is to gaze out over the beautiful Victoria Harbor at night. There is also the , which was built to honor many in the local film industry. It is an awesome location from which to take in all the sights and sounds of the harbor. 

Golden Bauhinia Square is surrounded on three sides by the harbor. It  is an amazing place to sit and relax, taking in the many harbor views.
