Ormoc Bay is a large beautiful bay on the Island of Leyte. This fantastic bay is an extension of the Sea of Camotes. The beautiful Camote Sea is a small sea, but beautiful as it weaves around Southern Leyte. It borders the Eastern and Central Visayan Areas. Leyte Island is to the North and Cebu is on the West. You can hardly tell where the Sea of Camotes ends and the Bay of Ormoc begins. Just one beautiful body of deep blue water.
The bay is just to the west of Ormoc City. There are many resorts on the beach and boat rentals are available. Rent a Kayak and see the beautiful shore of the bay from the water. The sandy beaches are beautiful and you can walk for miles. Everyday is different on the beach, so be prepared to see something new each time you go walking.
