Mangrove jungle in the Negeri Sembilan Peninsula Malaysia

The thick Mangove forests in Malaysia can be found on rivers, sheltered coastlines and nearby islands. These very thick forests are able to support many species of animals and plants. The coastal Mangrove forests protect seaside villages from winter storms, and provide valuable resources. They are used for fuel, wood, medicine, herbs, timber, and food. When used correctly, these valuable forests provide a very fast growing substainable enviroment.
