Jurong Bird Park And Flamingo Lake

Jurong Bird Park is charmed by hundreds of different Flamingos. There are Greater Flamingos and Lesser Flamingos that call Flamingo Lake home. Also found on Flamingo Lake are the Chilean and Caribbean Flamingos.  Each of the species of flamingo are completely different from the other. The Greater Flamingos are the largest  of all the species. Flamingo Lake is an oasis of tranquility. It is Flamingo heaven!

Jurong Bird Park is one of the most renowned bird sanctuaries in all the world. Jurong Bird Park has some of the largest free-flying aviaries in the entire world and is home to many large species of birds. It is Asia’s largest Sanctuary and home to 5,000 birds representing 400 species. Take a walk through the walk-in aviary and visit the Waterfall aviary. The Waterfall Aviary has over 600 birds which enjoy the beautiful waterfall in their midst.

Go on down a few stories for an encounter at the Lory Loft, the world’s largest lory flight aviary. Visit with the Australian natives. These are by far the friendliest birds you will ever meet. Walk across suspended bridges with cups of sweet nectar during feeding times and they will flock to you in droves. Nothing prepares you for these friendly lories.

Don’t forget to visit Penguin Coast. Here you will see the beautiful Antarctic Penguins. Watch them dive and carry on as they romp and play in the icy waters. Spend time with their tropical brothers, the African Penguins. Take advantage of the opportunity to feed them if you are there at feeding time.

Jurong Bird Park is the perfect destination for your next Asian adventure. Singapore is a modern city-state and is often called the cleanest city in the world. Some of the other fascinating Singapore tourists locations are Night safari, River safari, and the Singapore Zoo.  While there enjoy the Wildlife Reserves. There you will see hundreds of species of wild life.  Why not make this the year you visit Singapore?
