A Divers Paradise Awaits In Cebu Philippines

Cebu,Philippines consists of the main island and 167 surrounding outer islands and islets. Cebu City is the first Spanish settlement in the Philippines.Cebu City is  the capital city of Cebu Provenance. Cebu City is the oldest city in the Philippine Islands. Cebu,Philippines is the diving capital of the world! It is amazing! The water surrounding the island is so clear and the blue, so blue, that snorkelers and divers flock to the area. Divers  love the endless beds of coral found around the different islands, which are home to over 3,000 species of fish. Some of the best diving in the world is off the outer islands of Cebu. Cebu’s central island location places it near to some of the most exotic tourist destinations. The Cebu islands has a huge diversity of plants and animals. The island abounds with many geological wonders. A special attribute of Cebu, Philippines, is it’s distance from earthquake and typhoon activity, making it a safe place to dive. It is one of the most exotic places in the world. Beaches, Coral Reefs, and rich fishing grounds surround the many islands. It’s first class hotels and resorts make it a perfect honeymoon destination. 

Located near to the urban area of Cebu City, is the island of Mactan. The world’s second largest airport is located on Mactan Island. Mactan Island is near to the city, with easy access to all of the hotels and resorts. There is a well developed transportation system among the Cebu Islands. This system  has helped to make Cebu,Philippines the economic heart of the southern part of the Philippine Islands. When you arrive at Mactan Island, you can go directly to the main Island of Cebu, or you can discover any of the other 167 outer islands. Transportation is by boat and the transportation system is well developed. Mactan Island also is a tourist destination in it’s own right, with many first class hotels and over 75 dive centers on the Island. 

Cebu is a diving paradise just waiting for you to discover her many treasures. Anytime, is a great time, for a diving adventure in the Philippines.
