Traveling all around over the world : Austria & Czech Republic

in #travel8 years ago (edited)

The best of whole highschool  is definitely - excursion. Like I said in previously posts, I graduated in year 2014/2015 and we were going to the Czech Republic in August 28th 2014. I think that it's  very important to go to the excursion because it's good to relief , having amazing time through fun with friends and also the best way to saygoodbye to school.

We were so happy and in the same time we had jitters. Whole new place and it couldn't pass without drinks :D A way was so long, some of us slept over the bus floor because it was really uncomfortable to sit for hours.

First destination was Austria, Vienna.

1. Schönbrunn  Park

The park at Schönbrunn Palace was opened to the public around 1779 and since then has provided a popular recreational amenity for the Viennese population as well as being a focus of great cultural and historical interest for international visitors. It has 1.2 km from east to west and approximately one kilometre from nouth to south.

'' You haven't been there, if you don't have a picture'' :D

Prater!

Which is the most famous amusement park in Vienna. There you can find lots of different attractions like roller coasters, ghost trains and carousels. Additionally to these different possibilities for an adrenaline rush there is also a highlight for nostalgia enthusiasts, the worldwide known Giant Ferris Wheel

It is so big, and we hurried up to get on it!

This is the view from the top, really stunning and I am not sure how high it is

This is from the otherside, when you looked down.

Whole city! A road to remember!

2.Salzburg

Salzbrug is the fourth-largest city in Austria and the capital of the federal state of Salzburg.  It  was the birthplace of 18th - century composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. There’s a Mozart College for musicians, and plenty of opportunities to hear his music. More recently, the city was the setting for the incredibly popular film and musical The Sound of Music. But apart from this it’s also a city with a flourishing arts scene, well-kept parks, good restaurants and picturesque side streets, echoing with the strains of classical music.

Next ''station'' was:

3. Český Krumlov

sometimes translated as Czech Crumlaw, is a small city in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic where Český Krumlov Castle is located.    The city is named Český Krumlov ("Bohemian Crumlaw") to differentiate it from Moravský Krumlov in South Moravia.

I want this  in Croatia! I am not sure that we have it here.

And pictures that I captured while we was walking:)

We held here for a couple hours.

And finally- Prague!

Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad.

The Prague astronomical clock, or Prague orloj  is a medieval astronomical clock located in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.  It is mounted on the southern wall of Old Town Hall in the Old Town Square.

The clock mechanism itself is comprised of three main components:  the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details; "The Walk of the Apostles", a clockwork hourly show of figures of the Apostles and other moving sculptures—notably a figure of Death (represented by a skeleton) striking the time; and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months. According to local legend, the city will suffer if the clock is neglected and its good operation is placed in jeopardy; a ghost, mounted on the clock, was supposed to nod its head in confirmation.

Churches in Prague - they are in the top 10 beautiful churches in Prague. They have so many details!
