Ust-Alexeevo

Ust-Alekseevo is a large village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region, center of rural settlement. From Veliky Ustyug is at a distance of 52 km along an asphalt road. In 1924–1928 and 1935–1959, Ust-Alekseevo was even the center of the Ust-Alekseevo region!

Now here is the usual measured rural life. Among the old century-old birch trees are old century-old houses.

There are not so many people on the streets on a weekday. Everyone is at work or sitting at home.

Dilapidated housing is quite a lot. The well in the courtyard of the apartment building says that there are no benefits at all in the apartments.
