Along the Bobrovka river – 3

in #travel6 years ago

Going down to the last village of Angle on our way, as usual, we first decided to look at the houses, and then we'll look for a ford across the river.
The first house is well preserved and the layout of it is similar to an office building.

Once in the previous village we saw the club, it means that the building of the village council may well survive.

The interior also says that it does not seem like an ordinary house.

The next house is probably the most outstanding building that we met on this journey.
This is a whole peasant prosperous economy!

The house itself is a huge five-walled house with a mezzanine and a balcony.

The interior of this house can be said that people lived here very well.

The space inside are bigger than in my two-room apartment!

Each room has a separate stove. After all, such huge rooms must be kept warm.

There is a Russian stove in the next room. And here is a huge shed under the house! There's a huge number of different cells, and judging by them there were horses, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and still about someone we do not know.

We returned to this house more than once. We was waiting for rain and dinner on the balcony - when there is still such an opportunity!

The rest of the houses are already somehow uninteresting to look for, but for the "tick" we nevertheless examined them. In this house there are windows, but the roof has failed and the trees are growing inside. A strange sight: you look inside, and there is vegetation.

This is the view from the inside.

Next was a completely destroyed house, from which there were only ruins. Then there was the ashes - the house was completely burnt. And here is the last house in the village of Angle.

We must now look for a ford across the river Bobrovka, which we did not give in due to the high water level. I'm sure that in the low water you can go to it in normal boots. Yes, and now you can wade, but the ice water, sometimes deep in the waist, and a strong current scared us away.

We did not cross the Bobrovka...the river did not let us. Accordingly, did not make a photo of the church we need. But we were not upset, because we already received a lot of impressions, walking along the abandoned villages of the Nyuksensky district of the Vologda region.

I too am drawn to buildings in a state of decay and being overtaken by nature. Brilliant images and engaging essay.
