Good afternoon, dear readers! Today I will show you native northern river mountains and rocks.
In fact, these are high steep banks of the rivers Sukhona and Strelna, outcrops of rocks of the Permian period.

Let's start from the mouth of the Strelna River. There are two walking ways to get to this place. The first way goes from the highway named Sukhona tract, you need to go through the forest and fields along the overgrown road to the high bank. The distance is not far, but we could not pass, because the road was so overgrown that it simply disappeared from sight and was replaced by an impassable bush.

The second way lies along the bank of the Sukhona River from the village Threshold. The downside of it is that you have to walk a few kilometers along the stony bank and then wade through the cold river Strelna, and this year also full-water.

We found a way number three - to get to the mouth of Strelna by boat. Transportation by boat here is organized perfectly: for 150 rubles per person you are taken there and back to the fountain (self-puring well), to the mouth of Strelna river and to any other place, if desired.

In principle, I can go through the Strelna in some places, but we are already on the right bank, climb up the path. Yes, there is a path here!

Half way up the long and steep ascent, you can rest and see the steep bank near.

We rise to the top. It is imperative to take a breath after the ascent, because it will then be intercepted from the admiration by the views opening from the steep bank to the Strelna River.
