Stepanitsa

in #travel5 years ago

The next point on the route through the villages of the Luzhenga bush was the abandoned village of Stepanitsa. Before it had to go on the marshy power lines.
Immediately after climbing a gentle hill, a narrow path opens up overlooking the village.

At first glance, this place immediately seemed very cozy and attractive, even despite the dismal sight of abandoned houses.

Huts in Stepanitsa are the simplest - there are no huge five-wall houses with balconies and mezzanines.

Only on the platbands there are elements of the carving, but they are too scarce.

Basically, all the houses are located on the same street, but there are also dilapidated buildings in other places.

There are no such spectacular views as in previous villages, but here the very location of houses along a narrow street makes this place very cozy.

It is noteworthy that the roofs of houses have a greater height and sharper angle than in previous villages. Probably, this is due to the fact that more housed hay in an economic extension, and the roof was one.

Inside the houses, everything is the same as everywhere else: the failed floors in the place of the furnaces, the bursting ofcrossbars and the ceiling are on the verge of collapse.

There are a few more household items here than in other villages, but they also have no value.

It was a good place, a pity that people had to leave it...

As is often the case - one of the houses is best preserved. Most likely it was used by hunters or just someone who had the longest remaining here lived.

Log cabin and outhouse very fresh. Inside the installation again: a hat with earflaps.

Huge overhang bed.

Antique mirror.

Broken dishes.

Log into the hut.

The remains of the loom.

Wooden barnyard.

The village of Stepanitsa was once a very beautiful, cozy and large village.

It is a pity that people had to leave it...
