Solvychegodsk. Nyuba - Koryazhma

in #travel7 years ago

Nyuba is a village halfway to Koryazhma from Solvychegodsk. It is located right on the road.

The most interesting thing in Nyuba, as you already understood - is an abandoned church.

We stop, I walk and I shoot this church from different points.

Anya rests in the car.

We reached the ferry crossing - a queue without end and edge. There was even an idea to go back through Solvychegodsk, but the desire to get back on the good road prevailed. So we began to wait like everyone else.

45 minutes and the ferry comes, but the whole line does not fit and after another 10 minutes comes another ferry. This time we fit in and we are lucky to go to Koryazhma "Nizovka".

Koryazhma, like Kotlas, is a panel gray town. Plus in Koryazhma also the pulp and paper mill.

Anya looks into the distance with sadness, because the journey is coming to an end. Do not worry, Ann, soon there will be new trips!

Nikolo-Koryazhemsky Monastery.

Right after Koryazhma we stopped at an abandoned airport. We did not find a runway, apparently it was already dismantled. And the building without stairs, even on the second floor does not rise. Therefore photos only from the ground floor.

That's all. Wait for new trips.

Perhaps the next trip will be on the Yug River by boat.

Sort:

Creepy haha. Wouldn't want to be there after dark with no light at least.

As always very beautiful photo story, like your car Volga :)

I like your photos.
Is this Orthodox church?

Thank you!
Yes, it is!
