Skornyakovo. The mouth of Lapinka river

After a walk through the village, I began to look for the mouth of the small river Lapinka. The entire stretch of this river is filled with adventure: first, it flows through a dense coniferous forest, then, falling into Krasavino, turns into two ponds, flows through the territory of the flax factory, flows through the central part of the city and only then falls into a spacious field.

In spring, Lapinka, like almost all rivers, is full of water with a strong current. But at low water, you can go in boots. It is very difficult to see this river among the thickets of grass.

Even on a flat field, she managed to hide. Probably, after so many adventures, she wants no one else to interfere, that she is allowed to calmly merge with the great powerful river and dissolve in its waters, to forget everything that has been experienced.

Fields are cultivated near the village of Skornyakovo. I tried to walk along Lapinka, but she did not let me close - the river was guarded by high and burning nettles.

A bridge appeared in the distance. Need to go to him.

Before reaching the bridge there is a car ford.

The wooden bridge over Lapinka is made so that you can go to the shore of the Northern Dvina.

There is almost no current and the depth is very large.

The cultivated fields with small hills are very reminiscent of pictures from such fabulous places as Tuscany. But in the distance, the outlines of Russia are immediately visible.

Here the Lapinka River flows into the channel of the Northern Dvina.

We can say that I got to the mouth, but something is missing.

After all, this is not the real Northern Dvina! Then you need to look for the merger of the channel with the main part of the big river.

In fact, at such a time of the year, it is difficult to understand that is the channel or the Lapinka River.

By the way, this is probably the only small river on the banks of which I was almost throughout its course. I was in the forest part, I was at the confluence of it in the pond, I was in the place of the current along the urban part and now I am in the place of the mouth.

I even once in childhood caught fish in it.

If ponds can be considered part of the river, then I even bathed in it.

The sun is very low, the rays already fall only on the tops of the bushes.

Next came the thickets of willow and tall grass.
