In the central part of the village of Shuiskoye there are also ordinary apartment huts.

I remind you that Shuiskoye is a village in the Vologda Oblast of Russia, the administrative center of the Mezhdurechensky district and Sukhonsky rural settlement.

And next to the new supermarket there may be stand (or lie) a destroyed barn.

The layout of the courtyards corresponds to the type of houses. Somehow cleverly said. In short, if the house is a hut, then in the courtyard there are barns, baths and garages.

Drying clothes are one of my favorite elements of old courtyards.

Here's how you can like this stuff? But I feel something looking at this photo. And I, too, felt something when I was standing in that place.

Reportage photographers would appreciate this landscape. And landscape photographers would call this photo amateurish. It seems we are doing one thing - taking pictures, painting with light, but how different and often opposite in philosophy are the genres of photography.

The degree of antiquity of a particular settlement can be judged by the surviving wooden walkways.

Shuiskoye is a district center. But I felt something else. I definitely liked it here, and I felt the artistic potential of this place. I must somehow try to come back here. Ideally: during an ice drift on a sunny evening.

Again I want to feel in the ancient narrow streets of Shuiskoye.

There are fewer such ancient settlements.
