River journey. The Yug river
We waited for the most important person in our fishing today and went straight to the Yug River. We pass the confluence of the rivers of Sukhona and the Yug. Here is the house that stands at the confluence, under which the shore has washed away and now it partially hangs over the water.
A couple of floods and it will be wiped off the face of the earth.
The Trinity-Gleden Monastery.
The Yug River is almost the same as the Sukhona in terms of width and fullness.
As in Sukhona. River life is also boiling in the Yug.
But in the Yug there are no steep coasts, most often there is such a coast.
In the distance one can see the village of Karasovo.
Closer to the shore are abandoned houses.
The beaches are mostly sandy. There are steep and high, but all of the same sand or clay.
Seagull on a fishing trip. Soon we will be fishing, but not in a completely legal way...
We arrived at the place of our parking lot. We unload things, we release the boat for fishing.
The place is called the Red Island. This is actually an island, because it is washed by water from one side by the Yug River, on the other - by the river Shardenga.
The river Shardenga in the summer almost dries up and it can be moved by car.
Far away the village of Morozovitsa.
It seems that the mist lies, but it's just smoke from the charcoal processing plant.
Again the Trinity-Gleden Monastery, only from a different angle. On the Red Island I'm for the first time, like for the first time on illegal fishing.
Since ancient times people have been fishing with nets ... and now they continue to do it. While we were stationed on the shore, the men on the boat approached us and asked where we would put the nets. They had to grieve, they wanted to take our place, but they were a little late.
What will happen next, read in the next issue. To be continued...

Thank you!
great pictures thank for sharing.
You seem to have a great view there.
Very peaceful river. Nice spot for a bit of fishing, or just floating downstream on a boat.
