River journey. Breakin-in the boat.

I begin a series of photos about the journey along the rivers of Sukhona and the Yug (for the most part it will be the Yug). The trip was with a friend on the Progress-3M boat with the SEA PRO 30 motor.
A friend recently bought a motor and installed it on a Soviet boat that lay idle for about 20 years. We went to run it. Of course, the boat is not yet registered and we did not have any documents.

At first they were launched to the water with the help of UAZ.

I immediately jumped into the boat, because I did not want to wet my feet in cold water.

Ilya (that's the name of my friend and the owner of the boat) disconnected the wheels.

And now we are going up the Sukhona River.

The control of the boat is similar to the car - the complete rudder shift takes about 2.5 turns.

Day turned out that it is necessary for such trips!

We reach the first steep banks on the Sukhona.

We immediately dock and inspect the terrain, similar to the puff walls. The height on the shore seems huge, unusual for our city, because we do not have buildings above five floors!

The shore strews into small stones from the slightest of our steps.

We move on, more precisely above the stream.

There are a lot of water in the river, the banks just started to be exposed.

There is a gurgling of a spring.

Meanwhile, we are returning to the city of Veliky Ustyug. I did not tell you the most important thing at first - we were waiting for another person to go with him fishing on the Yug River. Fishing will be dangerous in all plans and meanings!
