Myakalsky Settlement

in #travel5 years ago

Myakalsky Settlement - a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region. It is part of the Mardenga rural settlement. The distance to the district center of Veliky Ustyug by road is 38 km, to the center of the municipality of Lodeika in a straight line - 7 km.

This village is located in the floodplain of the Myakolitsa River. If you look down from the high Pupyshevo, you can see several houses standing in the lowland.

This is the lowest point of the whole bush.

Nobody lives in the village constantly, but judging by the well-groomed streets, summer residents are often here.

Myakalsky Settlement I liked the most.

Here, the original appearance, and with it the atmosphere, has been preserved as much as possible.

Feel yourself in some 18th century, where there were no cars yet. Only the electrical wires return you to reality.

Due to the poor road leading to the village, locals leave their cars on the asphalt road.

Due to this, the streets in the village itself are not broken to mess.

The facades of the houses are facing the nearby Myakolitsa river.

I did not even expect to see her so close.

As is customary in any village - baths are as close as possible to the source of water.

The places here are very picturesque at any time of the year!

I have already visited many residential and abandoned villages and in every place I conclude for myself whether I would like to own a house here or not.

In Myakalsky settlement I would definitely like to have a cottage.

Even despite the proximity to the big road, it is very quiet here.

To be continued...

Damn! It's really beautiful! Especially the forest in the first pic! And I'm telling you that even though I love mountains.. ^^
Also it reminds me very much of Chernarus (a fictional russian country in the game Arma II )

Looks way more interesting than europe where you aint allowed to do anything. I need a place to ride my enduro...^^

What a lovely place!

Very nice place...
