Kuznetsovo

In the village of Kuznetsovo, we were sent on a working assignment to write about a veteran, a 90-year old woman.
The village is on the edge of the Veliky Ustyugsky District, Vologda Region.

Usually I put cats at the very end, but here will be in the beginning, because as soon as we entered the village, we immediately began to meet fluffy from different sides!

And here is the granny! I did not expect to see her in such a cheerful, cheerful state and in such health.

She herself, for our meeting, prepared a meal full table, all day on her feet ... all by herself!

I imagined Granny in 90 years in a different way.

She told me how she worked as a laundress in a military hospital, washing clothes from the wounded right in the hole in the winter ... without gloves. She told me how then after her icy water her hands were burning. The laundry was in this house.

For the linen, they went with their mother to the city center to the hospital, loaded onto the sledge and hauled back about 10 km.

He says that work and hardenedness helped to survive at that time and live for so many years.
After the war they kept a large housekeeping.

The village is on the high bank of the Northern Dvina.

Very close to the village is a large village Aristovo, where there is a school, a kindergarten and many other social institutions.

In Aristovo you can get through the log on the footbridges.
