Kosmovo

Kosmovo is a village in the Mezhdurechensky district of the Vologda region. It is part of the Sukhonsky rural settlement. The distance to the district center of Shuiskoye by road is 3.5 km.

Kosmovo is located at the entrance to the village of Shuiskoye. The architectural appearance corresponds to the antiquity of these places. The houses here are very old, dilapidated and even abandoned.

I would pass by if it were not for the huge portrait of Lenin hanging on the facade of one of the houses.

And since I stopped, I decided to walk along the only street in Kosmovo, which is the regional highway.

In almost all dilapidated houses people live.

Two-story wooden houses here are not of a barrack type, but of an older petty bourgeois type.

In appearance they seem real mansions made of wood.

Even one-story wooden houses look like they are over a hundred years old.

Having been in these parts, I realized that in the Vologda region there are still a lot of beautiful and ancient places that I have not studied.

With a strong desire, you can restore anything.

The outback of the Vologda region was surprisingly attractive.
