Korobeinikovo. Dead ends village

in #travel5 years ago

Korobeinikovo is a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region, part of the Yudinsky rural settlement. The distance along the asphalt road to the district center Velikii Ustyug is 2.7 km, to the center of the Yudino municipality 5 km (it turns out that the district center is closer!).

The village of Korobeinikovo is located on the slope of a small hill, at the bottom of which flows the river Striga. Ustyug – Arkhangelsk highway passes close by, every minute many-tonne trucks loaded with forest rush past.

This settlement is located near the city, but I have been there only a couple of times in my whole life, because there is nothing to do here. There is practically no dilapidated housing, old buildings. No infrastructure and nature monuments. This can be called a suburb of Great Ustyug. I still tried to find something interesting.

Old houses, to my surprise, are still there, but very few of them.

Whether the former stoker, or some kind of repair shop...

Opposite are garages.

I have seen many times that such garages are used in half. Soon they will become like dilapidated housing - an endangered species.

Korobeinikovo is rapidly turning into a cottage settlement.

The comfort, the spirit of antiquity and history are not felt here at all.

The "train" from bathhouses.

Here is the most terrible street layout. Between them there is almost nowhere driveways, lanes or at least passes. Wherever you go - everywhere is a dead end.

In the village there are several apartment buildings. One of them is a two-storey apartment barrack.

All multi-storey apartment buildings are on the same street.

As in any other village, in Korobeinikovo they adhere to the canons: opposite there are household outbuildings in the form of garages, barns and bathhouses.

You can hide a car between giant snowdrifts.

New and old sheds.

The next apartment building after the barrack is a brick two-piece apartment building.

Basketball ring height in waist!

The houses are brick, and the sheds are wooden!

Next is a brick three-story house.

Opposite these houses in the same street, in the depths of sheds and garages, another strange wooden apartment building was lost.

And before the three-storey building there is the longest shed I have ever seen!

There are no playgrounds in the yard. The children made themselves a slide from a huge pile of snow and slid right to the wall of the house.

To be continued..
