Birthday of Grandfather Frost

Yesterday an annual celebration took place in Veliky Ustyug, the birthplace of the Russian Grandfather Frost - the celebration of the birthday of the winter wizard.

The main performances were held in Residence of Grandfather Frost, which is located outside the city. There were different performances on the stage.

The holiday was mainly for children, but there were many adults too.

On various backyards and glades there were playgrounds with amusements. The tourists were entertained as best they could.
