A trip to the foretime III

Autumn is the most interesting time for traveling and at the same time difficult on weather conditions. In the autumn, mushrooms, berries, vegetables keep up, in the autumn the brightest colors and beautiful sky!

But in the autumn often bad weather and from this bad roads.

The village of Kuliga is located in the Kotlas district of the Arkhangelsk region. There are not houses left, just an abandoned church was being survived. There are almost no roads there either - I had to walk a couple of kilometers on foot.

The church stands on a hill, it can be seen from afar.

Inside, as in many abandoned temples are bare walls, and in some places the ceiling is collapsed.

The road, if you can call it that, goes somewhere else, but there are no more villages on the map.

We try to walk along this road, but we are stumbling across by the forest and the swamp.

We return back and go to the village of Kuliga.

I've been to many abandoned villages, but there's practically nothing left of this .. a pair of skewered bathhouses and foundations of houses, overgrown with nettles and dog-rose.

A ruined temple is seen in the distance.

Growing grass and shrub even the trees themselves!

There is really nothing to watch here, so we went to another place. On the way we drove into the indescribable beauty pinery. Mushrooms were not found, but walked like a carpet.

Such colors are only in the fall!

Quite another world ..

... Then came to the village Exhibition. People live in it, but the church is also destroyed, although the condition is much better.

You can only get to the second floor, the first one was locked up.

Then we went to the village of Savvatia, there is a secret military airfield, but we could not get there even through the forest - it is very cunning: around it runs the Limenda river and does not come from any side, except through a checkpoint, where, of course, you will not miss it. So we tried, but everywhere we were blocked by a small but deep rivulet.

The day was drawing to a close, it began to darken and we went back out of the forest.
The most striking impression left by the most beautiful forest! I will definitely return there again!
