Along the Bobrovka river

The next trip through the abandoned villages with the aim to get to the church, to make her pictures for the upcoming book about the Veliky Ustyug and the Totem Diocese, we did on the weekend.

As usual, along the meandering river Bobrovka of the Nyuksensky district of the Vologda region, there is a bush of villages.

Village of Razulichye. Houses that are closer to the high road are residential.

The territory is well-groomed, light is passed and even there are outdoor surveillance cameras.

And then everything is abandoned.

Although there are still poles and go to some houses of wire, but no one will live here.

Traveling through abandoned villages is a somewhat monotonous occupation, but still there are some interesting moments in each place. For example, an unfinished fresh house in the old style in the village of Panfilikha.

The rest of the houses are all old.

The streets are completely overgrown with grass and bushes, but there are lanterns on the poles!

Inside, everything is familiar to the eye: somewhere completely empty, and in some houses, even things and photographs are lying around.

Twin houses. This is the first I see.

One entrance for two, and it is between the houses.

The neighboring house is almost completely dismantled for firewood. Very close to a large inhabited village Bobrovskoe - people need to heat their homes by something.

The village was bypassed, but it is necessary to get to the main purpose of our trip - to the church. It is beyond Bobrovka river, which we could not wade because of the high water level. We decided to approach from other villages. To do this, I had to go out on the high road and move a little further a mile and a half, and then again, through the fields and coppices, go to the villages.
