Travel World Steemit: The medieval village of Campanopolis.[ENG]steemCreated with Sketch.

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

Travel World Steemit is a vision that I had then to think about all the places that I would like to visit someday and that I could write down in a list of pending trips for future trips and many of those places I would like to share with Travel World Steemit, which is a Own initiative based on tourism and in beautiful places that surely many of you did not even know existed.

I want to start this tour with a place called "Campanopolis".

Let's know more about this beautiful site.

Campanopolis

Brief historical review.

Campanópolis, name given by the surname of its founder, Don Antonio Campana has an incredible story, where dreams and effort have an indecipherable link with art and the emotion of achievement.

The village with a medieval spirit was dreamed up, designed and built by Don Antonio Campana, who did not possess architectural studies in his dream, on a 200 hectare estate with plains, forest, rivers, streams and lakes.

The story tells that almost 40 years ago this dream began in an estate acquired in 1976, where former Tosqueras were used, the product of which was used for the construction of the bases of the slopes of the Ezeiza International Airport and the Richeri Expressway.

Strange and entrancing, the village is made up of a group of buildings joined by cobbled streets, passages, nooks and crannies. It responds to diverse European Middle Ages styles to produce an eclectic style of its own.

Born of demolitions, creativity and dreams of a man Don Antonio Campana. With medieval air, in González Catán rises the most unusual city of recycling of Argentina and its surroundings, only 30 minutes from Capital Federal.

The Twelve Casitas del Bosque (The Twelve Casitas of the Forest) are a mystical way to magically transport us to a fantastic place. When all this seems incredible we find fountains, lakes, quebracho bridges to cross the islands, docks, a Dutch windmill, a colonial chapel and a locomotive with wagons.

It is incredibly incredible how one recreates an era in only a small portion of land, taking the Middle Ages directly into the modern age.

The Museum of the Rejas or Ferroteca is one of the most interesting places where all kinds of wrought iron bars, hanging chandeliers, vitreaux, antique objects and art pieces are exhibited. There are also buildings where the materials used for its construction are the theme such as the Stone House, the Wood Museum or Sticks, the House of Slag.

In addition you will be able to cross the Passage of the Owl, the Museum of the Caireles, the Cabildo, the Cascina, the Proa Boat House and hundreds of secret spaces.

It is a very cozy place that is worth knowing and here I will leave you some photos so you can see what I am talking about.

Recognized artists and social work are carried out in this beautiful village.

Undoubtedly, it is a mystical and beautiful place worth visiting someday, and it is only a short time from the Argentine capital.

I hope you enjoyed this first tour of Travel World Steemit.

@etnique, I just came across your steemit blog and to be honest with you, I liked your writing style and the way you placed photos in it. Really cool. I just followed you. One big reason why I like steemit is, it entices so many people to post about their travels with photos. So, this way, it's turning a lot of people into bloggers and lots of bloggers into story tellers.

I so much adore traveling+blogging and for me, nothing can be more fun that that.

Excellent work dear friend @etnique congratulations, thank you very much for sharing all this informaicon
