Fantastic post as always.
I especially love it as it showcases a great way to experience a destination. I had never heard of homestays before this week but twice people have mentioned them to me for two very different countries. I really like the idea and it seems like a great way to visit the country and get a truly cultural experience.
I wonder what will happen to these indigenous peoples and will their culture survive modernisation.
