[MotorcycleBlog] Whale safari in Andenes, Norway #part 4
For this day we had planned a whale safari and a search for a new camping (preferably with a house).
We woke up very early (a two-hour jet-lag, thank you). We decided to go to the beach, I wanted to take the test of the Atlantic Ocean water (Norwegian Sea). The sand on the beach is white, soft on the touch, water is crystal clear (never seen before). Yeah,buuut the water is unbearably cold! I've lasted 30 second lol ahahaha.

We've deployed tents and made it to the office of the Whale safari. I knew that the summer whale safari is a scam before the trip. We were immediately told that we will not see blue whales, for this we must come in February. But cachalot whales - most likely gonna be seen. And squids, if you're lucky. "A true SCAM", we agreed. Until the time of meeting there is still an hour and a half, it was decided to go for a walk, but somewhere to have a snack (claimed 3-4 hours of boat cruising)

Seeing this is bewitching. Especially when the back of the cachalot whale starts to bend and you know that now there will be the most exciting spectacle - a huge fish will go to the depth, waving its farewell tail and disappearing for 10-15 minutes from our eyes.
Alarm! Dive! Dive! Dive! (submarine style)
We saw several cachalot "synchronised swimming", and it's time to take course to the shore. At one point the boat turns 180 degrees and stops. Guide points somewhere on the water , but it's not clear where. Suddenly, not far from us something that looks like a child's head shows up, and then disappears, flashing for only a couple of seconds. And so a few more times. As a result, you do not even have time to see something, I'm not saying to take photo. As I understand it, it was the giant squid! We saw them too, so the whale safari was successful (if we did not see the whales, the company had to refund money or arrange us another tour).
