Today i decided to show you my hometown as part of the #introduceyourhometown by @redtravels:

Being the capital city, Pristina is considered as the heart of Kosovo because of its central location and its importance in finance, commerce, media, entertainment, arts, international trade, education, service, research and healthcare. Almost all domestic and foreign companies, media and scientific institutions have their headquarters in the city.

In the middle of the Square we have a statue of the Albanian Prince Skanderbeg who saved all europe from the ottoman occupation in the XV century.

Have you ever heard about Mother Teresa ? Albanian as well, we also have her statue in the middle of Prishtina

An other interesting architecture i'd like to share with you is our national library that represents the albanian hats called plisat and the chains over them, the years of our countries occupation from the other nations.

After Kosovo won independence we made an obelisk called New Born and every year we repaint the obelisk based on the situation our country finds it self in.

Well there is a possibility you have never yeard about Kosovo and Prishtina,
