Damn, these pictures makes me want to go back! Fantastic shots. I haven't read your earlier posts but which city did you start your scooter travel from? I think I may need to do one of these scooter trips across Vietnam next year as well.
I bought my scooter in HCMC, and started there. It seems like most backpackers go from south to north, so I think you can get better deals in Hanoi.
