If you’re feeling something more low-key, why not try the beer garden in Olympiahügel? This is perfect if you want a refreshing beer break having been relaxing in the park all day. But if you want the real Bavarian experience, go to Augustiner-Keller. Founded in 1896, the Augustiner-Keller is one of Munich’s oldest beer gardens and back in the day people would often bring their own tables to enjoy the experience!!

Outdoor Baths

An alternative to swimming in the sea is relaxing in one of Munich’s outdoor baths. The Naturbad Maria Einsiedel is a natural bath which gets its water direct from the Isar River via a small channel. If you want a cool down, why not float in one of these glorious Bavarian baths?
