Can’t inflate tyre with air? Inflate tyre with moss!

Hi Steem(it)! 

I'm a cyclist and a photographer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I don't want to make some kind of introducemyself post, don't want to show you a photo of mine holding a sheet of paper with my nickname and "steemit" written on it (BTW that's me on the pic above taking photos in Iceland). I'd just like to tell you a story. This is a funny episode from a 45 day bicycle trip which took place in 2013. This trip surely was the most epic adventure in my life.

It was day 33 of our bicycle trip about Karelia (region in north-west Russia). Local roads (sometimes they are called not roads but just directions) damaged the wheel. Not only the tyre and the tube but also the rim.  

Nothing to do with it, no way to repair. Think unconventional! 

Moss. More moss is needed! Even more!  

Some duck tape gonna make it beautiful. 

Some cookies with pate gonna make him full.

It started to ruin while moving after a couple of kilometers

Fifteen kilometers of gravel hell and that's it, job's done! 

Yet it was totally dead and we had to take a truck to transport our bikes to the city of Petrozavodsk to buy a replacement wheel.
