This is what I came to China to see! Ancient architecture with that feeling of the old culture. It's really unfortunate that the government continues to destroy old hutongs/streets. Development is important but at what cost?

Even if it is old, perhaps they can just be renovated so they are safer. They give the cities and the country personality!! There are too many gray, concrete, apartment buildings.

Those good old buildings are replaced with grey ugly modern ones. that's a great pity. other countries always try their best to protect the traditions
