Donkeys and Vulcanoes

At the high plateaus of the chilean Andes I discovered this bunch of cute donkeys standing in the dry desert in front of black vulcanoes. The threatening dark clouds of a upcoming bad weather front fit nicely to the black vulcanoes and give the image more dramatic...

It does not rain very often and therefore only very few plants grow here, so I think the donkeys have a hard time to survive in this hostile environment.
