Around Poland - city Krakow - landmark #2,3,4 and 5 Rinek square, Cloth hall, St Mary's Basilica, and Church of St Wojciecha
Unforcionatly that whill be shorter history lesson because my toor guide was bad and I dont hear to much from him .
Rinek (on Polish mean market). Rinek square is bigest in Krakow size is 200*200 meter. That square was promoted in the most beautifulon the world at 2005. Also that square is placed on the list of Uneske's heritage in 1988, I think.Three streets are strewn with three-way streets, except on the side where the grocka street is because the street itself is older than the square.
Sorry because I dont have better photos of square but on it we can see landmak 4 and 5 also.
The Church of St. Wojciech (crkva svetog Agdelberga) is the oldest stone church in the Polish, originating from the 11th century and after the numerous renovation of the square under the bucket is below the level of the square up to 3 meters. Church is also on unesco list.
Sukjenica or cloth hall is a building located on the square, one of the symbols of Krakow. The long one is 85 meters long and there is a gallery of prominent artists on its floor. The most famous painting that is being preserved here is Leonardo's lady with hermeline.
Basilica Mariacka was built in the 13th century in the Gothic style and is linked to more legends. One of them is that the church built two brothers and then one of them killed the other from jealousy that the other would not build a beautiful and hanging tower, so it is seen that the towers are different. Another legend says that the player was sitting at the top of the tower and informed the people about the coming danger. In the advent of the sword hunt, he hit him in the neck and he died and the melody he played at the time of dying on the trumpet is called the Hail Mary. (Hajnel Mariacki)
From the back of the church there were goggles where people were thrown and beaten with eggs, tomatoes, and they were scared to be battered by them for the chase, theft and various other weeks.
Entrance to the cathedral is possible throughout the year and pay 5 zlotys, which is about 1.25e until it goes to the tower, is possible from March to the end of December with a very limited number of tickets every day.
I hope you enjoyed it, I did not drown you completely.
