Park Guell in Barcelona. Part 2

At first, Gaudí and company strengthened the slopes of the mountain and built multi-level terraces. Roads were laid, walls were built around the site, at the same time two gingerbread houses were created at the entrance and a market with columns in the central part. In the last phase, the famous serpentine bench was built.
The construction of the park was carried out until 1914. And in 1926, Parc Guell was opened to the public as a public park when Guell's heirs sold the park to the Barcelona authorities.
In 1984, UNESCO recognized Park Guell as a World Heritage Site.

The modern Park Guell covers an area of ​​17.18 hectares. Park Guell is divided into two parts. The part with the creations of Gaudí in the style of “modernism” is paid (tickets to the park were taken on our excursion, so the ticket costs 13.50 euros!)), The rest is free. Of course, the best is concentrated in the paid part of the park!
Park Guell is open all year round and is open from 8.00 to 21.00. (Opening hours depend on the season and may vary)

Immediately at the Central Entrance, we are greeted by two famous “gingerbread” houses. The park administration is located in the house with a tower and a cross.

And in the next house are the gatekeepers of Park Guell.

There are always a lot of tourists here in summer! The place is very popular with tourists!

The main staircase of the park is located nearby. The staircase leads to the hall of 100 columns (in fact, there are only 86 columns, deceiving the consumer!)

Here, on the landing of the stairs, there is the famous Salamander made of mosaics and a medallion with a snake head and the flag of Catalonia.

Here is the Salamander! At the beginning of the post, it was on a magnet!

And this mosaic plate can be seen on the ceiling of the hall of a hundred columns. I'm not sure, but it seems like this is a plafond for lighting.

On the upper terrace of the hall of 100 columns is the famous (yes, everything is famous here!) Snake bench. Sea serpent and not otherwise!

Hier ist ein minderwertiges Panorama der Lebkuchenhäuser.

Neben der Verwaltung gibt es auch einen Souvenirladen.

Im Sommer sind hier immer viele Touristen! Der Ort ist bei Touristen sehr beliebt!
Die Haupttreppe des Parks befindet sich in der Nähe. Die Treppe führt in die Halle mit 100 Säulen (tatsächlich sind es nur 86 Säulen, die den Verbraucher täuschen!) Hier, auf dem Treppenabsatz, befindet sich der berühmte Salamander aus Mosaiken und ein Medaillon mit einem Schlangenkopf und dem Flagge von Katalonien.

Hier ist der Salamander! Am Anfang des Beitrags war sie auf einem Magneten! Und diese Mosaikplatte ist an der Decke der Halle der hundert Säulen zu sehen. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber es scheint, als wäre dies ein Plafond für die Beleuchtung.
Auf der oberen Terrasse der Halle der 100 Säulen steht die berühmte (ja, hier ist alles berühmt!) Schlangenbank.
