I continue with the theme of old Cuban cars. This is the penultimate part.

Yes, this is "Willis", the American legend of the 2nd World War!

Motorcycles and scooters are rare in Cuba, but they can be found here too.

A rarity for Cuba - a yellow car. By the way, car rental in Cuba costs about 80 cc + deposit.
The Cuban guide did not really recommend renting a car. They often break down, and the worst thing is that you can dry it and stick it in a car without gasoline. There may be interruptions with gasoline! It is easier to hire specially trained people in retro cars, you can always agree on the price of a route.

It seems to me that this is the Opel Kadett K38, they began to produce it from the end of the 30s of the 20th century! It was on the basis of this machine that the famous "Moskvich -400" was created. "Opel" fit in like a native on the streets of Trinidad.

The color is not native, the car was repainted, maybe not even once or twice. But it looks great!

A little confused by the rear door hinges and the emblem on the hood. Opel's rear passenger doors opened forward, but here they open backward, as in modern cars ... Well, I'm not a connoisseur!
And all because i'm a fool! It was Ford Prefect. So this is not an Opel, it is a pure-blooded Ford, but how similar, how similar !!!

Eine Seltenheit für Kuba - ein gelbes Auto. Autovermietung in Kuba kostet übrigens ca. 80 cc + Kaution. Der kubanische Guide empfahl nicht wirklich, ein Auto zu mieten. Sie gehen oft kaputt, und das Schlimmste ist, dass Sie es trocknen und ohne Benzin in ein Auto stecken können. Bei Benzin kann es zu Unterbrechungen kommen! Es ist einfacher, speziell geschulte Leute in Retro-Autos zu mieten, Sie können sich immer auf den Preis einer Route einigen.

Etwas verwirrt durch die hinteren Türscharniere und das Emblem auf der Motorhaube. Opels hintere Beifahrertüren öffnen sich nach vorne, aber hier öffnen sie sich nach hinten, wie bei modernen Autos ... Nun, ich bin kein Kenner!
Und das alles, weil ich ein Narr bin! Es war Ford Prefect. Das ist also gar kein Opel, es ist ein reinblütiger Ford, aber wie ähnlich, wie ähnlich !!!
