And therefore, all that remains is to sit and admire the old photographs, naively dreaming that everything will work out. What are we going to do now.
Especially sophisticated Indians put up chairs and take the best seats to watch the sunset show. This group of Aboriginal people sat here every evening, sometimes drinking beer. Yes, and the dog also lay here every evening!

The peculiarity of Mandrem beach is that here the strip of the beach is separated from the coast by a small stream. At low tide, you can cross it almost without getting your feet wet, and during "high water" the depth of the stream is about 1 meter. The stream is warm, does not stink (sometimes it is critical in India). Nothing outsider floats in the stream. The cafes have wooden walkways. In the cafe where we had dinner, the net was stretched. For birds and all that. And sometimes whole swarms of insects come to the world from nowhere. Another winged brood rushes into the light. We did not go to that cafe again ... in other places there was no such accumulation of insects.

You can watch the sunsets in Goa forever! The local population is happy to come to the beach in the evening with whole families. There are more people on the beach than during the day. Still would! In the evening, there is no longer the exhausting heat of the day! During the day, only sunbathing white wallets with legs rest here and rare merchants walk around here.

Yes! Another feature of Mandrem Beach is that there are not many merchants here. Mandrem, Ashvem and the famous hangout Arambol are located separately from other beaches and traders from outside do not come here, only locals are here. Grandfather went with fruit that he could cut (for the 2nd time after pineapple we ran a little to the toilet, and therefore we stopped buying these cut fruits, grandfather's dirty machete did not inspire confidence) and a couple of clothes vendors from stalls in the village ... The prices were good.

Es bleibt also nur noch, sich hinzusetzen und die alten Fotos zu bewundern und naiv zu träumen, dass alles gut wird. Was machen wir jetzt.
Besonders anspruchsvolle Inder stellen Stühle auf und nehmen die besten Plätze ein, um die Sonnenuntergangsshow zu sehen. Diese Gruppe von Aborigines saß hier jeden Abend und trank manchmal Bier. Ja, und der Hund lag auch jeden Abend hier!

Die Besonderheit des Strandes von Mandrem ist, dass hier der Strandstreifen durch einen kleinen Bach von der Küste getrennt ist. Bei Ebbe kann man ihn fast ohne nasse Füße überqueren und bei "Hochwasser" beträgt die Tiefe des Baches ca. 1 Meter. Der Bach ist warm, stinkt nicht (manchmal ist es in Indien kritisch). Nichts Außenstehendes schwimmt im Strom. Die Cafés haben Holzstege. In dem Cafe, in dem wir zu Abend gegessen haben, war das Netz gespannt. Für Vögel und so. Und manchmal kommen ganze Schwärme von Insekten aus dem Nichts auf die Welt. Eine andere geflügelte Brut stürzt ins Licht. Wir gingen nicht mehr in dieses Café ... an anderen Orten gab es keine solche Ansammlung von Insekten.

Sie können die Sonnenuntergänge in Goa für immer beobachten! Die lokale Bevölkerung kommt abends gerne mit ganzen Familien an den Strand. Am Strand sind mehr Leute als tagsüber. Würde trotzdem! Abends gibt es nicht mehr die brütende Hitze des Tages! Tagsüber ruhen hier nur sonnenbadende weiße Geldbörsen mit Beinen und seltene Händler laufen hier herum. Jawohl! Ein weiteres Merkmal von Mandrem Beach ist, dass es hier nicht viele Händler gibt. Mandrem, Ashvem und die berühmte Party Arambol liegen getrennt von anderen Stränden und Händler von außen kommen nicht hierher, nur Einheimische sind hier. Großvater ging mit Obst, das er schneiden konnte (zum 2. Mal nach Ananas liefen wir ein wenig auf die Toilette, und deshalb kauften wir diese geschnittenen Früchte nicht mehr, Großvaters dreckige Machete erweckte kein Vertrauen) und ein paar Kleiderverkäufer von Ständen in der Dorf ... Die Preise waren gut.
