Hot Springs, Arkansas - Day 1 (5 photos)
I'm currently on vacation with some friends of mine in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It really is beautiful in this area. This is Lake Catherine a few miles out from the City:
It's only about 3 hours from my home in Louisiana which makes this area convenient. I'll be posting pics from our trip over the next few days. This is our Yurt ⛺️ we are staying in.
Here's a view from the inside.. I've never stayed in one these before.
We hiked a small trail before dinner and found some cool plants 🌱 I believe this is a Peruvian daffodil 🌼

It's really comfortable, we haven't actually spent a night yet though, will find out in a few hours

Hot Springs is a great place to get away for a while! My family and I visited there last year....Our kids couldn't believe how truly hot the spring water was! The diamond mine was a lot of fun too....
