Damn, you were really unlucky with the weather in Sa Pa... I did the exact same trip before, even stayed in the same Hotel in Than Uyen... how can i reply with pictures? I could send you a few clear pix and some drone footage from that river bed ;)

Yeah, it was a bummer that Sapa was all fogged in when I was there. Luckily the weather cleared up and the rest of the north was mostly dry.
I'd love to see some of your Than Uyen photos.

thats how it looks on a normal day on the way up to Sa Pa ... still hazy
well that didn't work well...
try again...i think its just drag and drop...before i only see the choose file link...this is much easier
