Another Day in France

Since we were in the South of France, about 2 hours south-east of Bordeaux, the climate is mild and dry. We had 9 out of 10 days of beautiful sunshine that made every day perfect for exploring and discovering the villages and countryside.

As in most countries, cats abound. This little watch-cat came over to the wall as we walked by and I couldn't help but take a few pics of him keeping watch over his domain. In the background are peach trees and even though it was early fall, everyone still felt the warmth of the summer.

The large mossy branch reaching up is almost an extension of the cat's tail, casually looped through the fence. He's very alert even though it's a quiet afternoon. A cat can never be too careful....
