What is the Motherland Monument ?
Known locally as 'Brezhnev's Daughter' the Motherland Monument is a giant titanium statue that celebrates the Soviet Union's victory over the Nazi Germany.
The 62-metre-high statue is an important feature of the Ukrainian capital's skyline

The sculpture is a part of the Museum of The History of Ukraine in World War II
