Five new flights to Tirana in 2018
Albania will become much more accessible for foreign tourists, as the country is aspiring to become a travellers destination.
The new national airline, Air Albania, which is expected to launch next year with the support of Turkish Airlines, plans to start daily flights connecting the capital city of Tirana with the cities of the region.
Initial flights will connect Tirana with Pristina, Skopje, Podgorica, Sarajevo, and Zagreb.
Currently, Albania does not serve any of these destinations. The Albanian capital is connected to Ljubljana through Adria Airways and Belgrade via Serbia Air, respectively, with sixteen weekly flights.
