#Day 22 Franz Josef Glacier ❄️🌤️

A must-see on your South Island New Zealand trip.

Franz Josef Glacier was first explored in 1865 by geologist Julius von Haast, who named it after the Austrian emperor. The glacier is now 12km inland and accessible only by helicopter.

    Yes, it's amazing. A long time ago the glacier reached up to this beach :)
