Apuseni mountains day 1, some visits close to Arieseni
My holidays for this year has begun! Yeeeey
For this time I have decided to spend it in Romania. In one of the top 3 beautiful places from this country.
This mountains are not so high, maximum altitude don't reach 2000 meters. But they have billions of flowers, tons of caves, canyons and it's a very good place to relax. Also here you can find some beautiful wild animals.
First day was more than an introduction in Apuseni Mountains, we walk over 20 kilometers and an altitude variation between 700 meters and 1200 meters.
During this walk we found some beautiful plants. For some of them I know their names for some of them I don't ...
- Most known plant that I found is wild mint, I think this doesn't need any presentation.
- Wild strawberries, they are smaller than known strawberries but much more tasty! This time I found only flowers, but in one month they will be ready to eat.
- Raspberries don't even have flowers :(
- I don't know the English name for this plant but in Romanian this is called tail horse.
Also we found some wild animals: - For the first time I meet this beautiful butterfly and I have no idea about his name.
- Also for the first time I meet this small and strange snail.
- And of course the godfather of snails.
During the travel we had to pass Ordancusii canyon.
Also, close to Ordancusii Canyon we found a beautiful cave, Ionele's Cave. It is over 100 meters long, 7 meters large and 28 meters high.
This is my short resume of how I spent this day. See you in the 2nd day!
