Xi An city walls
HI Steemit.
This is the Xi An city wall that used to protect the old city from enemies. It has many gates where you can enter and climb up the walls by stairs
This is the south gate where we entered
At night there is a traditional show call Chang An impression
It is staged on this place just inside the gate
After climbing the stairs you can walk around the wall
You can also rent a bicycle or golf cart to take you around. Golf cart is a bit expensive, so bicycle and walking are the popular choice

You can enjoy the view of old Xi An and the modern side.
As you can see on the left which is inner wall side its traditional buildings, and on the right or the outer wall side its tall buildings. The inner city is preserved so tall buildings are only allowed outside the wall

The walls are very wide and flat making it easy to walk around
Really awesome place, its unfortunate how much pollution is in the city and you cant even see the sky.

I can only imagine back then what life was like. Maybe in many ways for peaceful, but also perhaps very difficult. Maybe will people will say the same of us 100 years from now :-)
Thank you floridanow. Yes life was very difficult for the common people back then. For the emperor very good off course. 100 years from now maybe travelling is done by teleport and no more long hours on a plane or train

Xi A city, wow. Very special, I see magnificent magnificent walls, and combine the two sides of traditional and modern buildings when we look at the castle walls, very unusual.

Xi An city wall is such a historical background. The wall is situated to keep the city safe from enemy. Every place of China has a nice old history. Wall is looking big. Very nice photography of wall and your daughters. Gif image is just awesome keep sharing @djohan
