Photos of our Korean Trip

These are photos of our trip to Korea that i haven't posted before and just got them out from cameras and other phone devices

This is Korean Taxi. We used it a lot as there were 4 of us so it's sometimes cheaper than subway for short to medium distances. And there are plenty of them .

But not all taxis are equal. There are deluxe taxis which are usually black colour with yellow sign on top. They charge more than regular taxis and their cars don't look much better than regular ones. People would prefer regular ones i guess

Most taxi drivers are nice and honest. But there was one that took the long route to charge us more. To avoid this you can actually request the driver turn on his GPS so you know exactly where you are going. There was one that didn't want to give us change. And there was one that gave us discount. So it really depends on the driver. But 90 percent of the time we got good drivers.

The subway was good too and better for long distances than taxis

If you pick the right time it can very quiet. We were alone in the station

There are shops in the subway stations and we found some good bargain there. Prices in stations are usually cheaper than in the mals

We noticed that the underground access to subway stations also serve as shelters just in case there is war with North Korea

It was a memorable and enjoyable trip to Korea. We are looking forward for our next trip. And we hope there will be peace for both South and North Korea
