Kobe, Japan
We visited Kobe when we stayed in Kyoto, it's only about 1 hour or less by bullet train from Kyoto or Osaka. It has beautiful harbor, gardens and shopping mals. Seems like a nice place to live.

My favourite place to visit was the Nunobiki Herb Gardens and Ropeway. The view from the ropeway was very nice, and beautiful herb garden at the top. You can also buy herbs and teas at the garden shop.

Kobe Beef is a must try while in Kobe. Fresher and cheaper than in other places

Hi Numpypython, thank you for your comment. I think Kobe is underrated compared to other cities, it's actually nicer than what i thought
