Hiroshima Peace Park

You probably have heard about Hiroshima from your history class. It's one of the 2 Japanese cities where the atomic bombs were dropped at the end of World War 2
This building still remains and is called the bomb dome
We met a man who was in his mother's womb when the bomb was dropped and is now 72 years old and looks very healthy . In fact looks very young like 60. He was there to promote his book

There is also a peace memorial miseum with a lot of interesting things on display and a lot of photos and videos about the atomic bomb

A day to remember in human history
Visiting this museum reminds us of the devastation caused by war and how valuable it is to live in peace. In wars there is only one thing certain, the lost of innocence lives often women and children and for the benefit and ambition of a few individuals at the higher rank of human society
let there be peace for all eternity!

Sometimes it is good to visit places that have a dark past so that you can appreciate what you have now and not repeat the same mistakes.
Thank you edkarnie. Yes very true. It is very sad what happened during world war. We are fortunate to be born after the war has ended and all wars should be prevented
“Mans inhumanity to man”...there are no words. I must also say that there is a large understanding and now push to eradicate the evil in the US Govt and other places right now. There will be stories coming out that will surprise many. 2018 will be interesting for many reasons.
