Cathedral Cove, Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand

There are still a few days until school starts so we went to a short trip to Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand.
This is Cathedral Cove. It is a cove by the beach that is shaped like inside a cathedral. Maybe that's how it gets the name
It is famous as it was in the movie the Chronicles of Narnia
There are some people selling sandwich and drinks at the entrance.
And some beautiful sea view of the peninsula

It would be 45 minutes walk to the beach
With nature surroundings
There are lots of things to see on the way
We made lots of stops for photos so it was more like an hour walk
Finally we arrive at the beach

A really nice beach with a unique Cathedral shaped cove, we also enjoyed the beautiful scenery during the walk, but was quite tired walking back. There is also the option to take water taxi but it stops at the other beach which is 20 minutes walk to the entrance. A good option if you are too tired to walk back 45 minutes

What a nice play to enjoy before school starts. THey will have lots of stories of things they have seen. Everbody loves a good storyteller.
